Prepare your surface
The surface you are applying your decal to should be dry and free of dust and dirt. WordDiva vinyl decals can be applied to a variety of surfaces including walls, glass, furniture, metal, mirrors, etc. They are removable but may not be repositioned or reused. Do not apply to freshly painted walls. Wait a minimum of 2 weeks after painting.
Plan your layout
Arrange your WordArt or WallArt on your surface and secure them using masking or painter's tape on the top edge only. A level and measuring tape might be helpful in determining the correct placement. Do not begin applying your designs until you are completely satisfied with your layout.
Apply your design
Flip the design up. Starting from any corner, slowly peel the white backing paper away from the application tape, making sure the design is sticking to your tape. If some of the design remains stuck to the backing paper, STOP. Rub the design in that area and slowly continue peeling until the backing paper is completely removed.
Lower your design against the surface while carefully moving your hand across the design. Start at the top and move your way to the bottom and edges of the design. With a credit card or similar object, finish the application by rubbing (burnishing) over the entire graphic to remove any air bubbles.
Remove Application Tape
Start at one corner and slowly remove the application tape from the design and surface. Pull at an angle close to the surface, as pulling up and away from the design could cause the decal to lift. If part of your design starts to lift from your surface, rub the area again before completely removing the application tape.
Step back, and ENJOY!
